
Look over in the corner for a well lit set of doors (The first 3 vitrified chambers). Walk through the enrichment sphere and through the automatic doors. Lay the portal, and then drop down onto the section of white floor to be thrown over. If you put a portal there, you can drop off and slingshot yourself over onto the next section.

There’s a section of wall with a slight slant. Go up there with a portal, and look down. Look to the back right corner for a lighted section of wall. Follow the catwalk up until the broken door, and use a portal to slip inside and reach the old Aperture Science Innovators Reception area. Reaching the Alpha RoomĪs the sign says, the water is deadly, so stay out of it. Go through the hatch once it’s opens and reveals the door. Then push the button on one and jump through quickly to hit the other. From the doorway of the office, shoot another one above the staircase next to the other one. Start by getting up into either one of them, by shooting a portal at an angle. You need to hit both overrides within 4 seconds. Use a portal to get to the ground floor.įollow the path forward to the hatch, and look for the two booths on the side. You can’t jump over, so walk to the end and look for a section of wall at the bottom on the ground. Use this to cross over the barred entrance. You can make the shot to put a portal above the catwalk, and then put another one on the white wall near it. After a few easy jumps, you’ll need to do a long connection to get around a fence and into the general yard.įollow the path to the condemned area, and look up. Use a few portals to get around the wreckage, just like before, and start looking for the way out.

From the ledge you're on now, you can jump down into the orange portal far below to build momentum and make the jump to the testchmaber exit.After the fall stops, get up and walk through the pipes. Again, launch a blue portal onto the very top of this wall panel. The wall panel should again push forward, closer toward the gap. You need to climb another level via a momentum jump. You'll be catapulted to the next level, but you're still not done. Fire a blue portal onto the top of the wall panel and then jump off the ledge into the orange portal below. Look overhead and watch as a couple of wall panels push out to overhang the pit. The third room is much like the second room, but this time the orange portal is placed at the bottom of the room's pit. You'll carry your momentum through the orange exit portal and should launch over the long gap in the floor to reach the room's exit. With the portal far below you, leap off the ledge and aim for the portal. Fire a portal onto the floor of the pit while you stay on the ledge above.

Fortunately, there's a large pit just ahead.
